John is licensed California real estate broker. To become a real estate broker requires at least two years experience as a real estate agent and at least eight college level real estate classes. These include finance, economics, business law, appraisal, and ethics. John is a member of SCCAOR, MLS Alliance and RE Info link. A full service Realtor and Mortgage consultant. John contributes to The United Way of Santa Clara County and is involved with several fellowships in the area. He plays guitar, studies music and computer programming in his spare time.

COMMUNICATION...

My experience has shown that people essentially want their REALTOR® to give them the full service of information: knowing Property Values, Property conditions, finance options in selling or buying property at a price and time frame acceptable to their client. Clients want to know from the start what services they can expect from their agent. It is the agent's responsibility to explain the roles played by the marketing process, Inspections, Preparation of property, title/escrow companies, lenders, colleagues in real estate and other parties in order to give the client a clear understanding of the entire transaction. "My job is to provide you with the best information, so you can make the right decision."

QUALIFICATIONS and CREDENTIALS

After graduating High School, John earned a degree in Chemistry from Cal. Poly. San Luis Obispo. After working as an Engineer in the semiconductor industry, in Silicon Valley, for several years John became a real estate sales agent. Then continued his studies to complete the required courses to become a real estate broker.

Active in practicing Real Estate since 1988, John Coons knows that people expect many things from REALTORS®. Responsiveness to clients needs is the attribute required of a real estate professional. John serves his clients by keeping them informed and doing the follow up work necessary to smoothly conclude any real estate purchase or sale. He has knowledge of 1031 Exchanges, First time buyers programs, MCC tax credit, Miles Act Historic home benefits, mortgage and re-finance, Tenants in Common (TICS) Investments, and various other options every home Buyer/Seller should know before they complete their transaction.
